MERRY LUDACRISMAS HAS CHECKED
ITS LIST AND IS MAKING
ITS ROUNDS ONCE AGAIN
Ludacris, TI and a host of celebrity friends are bringing
Christmas cheer to Atlanta children
Atlanta, GA – This Christmas, in the spirit of giving, the multi-platinum rapper/actor Ludacris will provide a
very special Christmas for some Atlanta area children affected by the flooding - call it a Merry LudaCrismas. "The Christmas season is all about finding joy in making others happy. It is important to give to those
individuals that are less fortunate than us. This is done without hesitation and is what the Ludacris
Foundation is all about. During the holidays there is no greater gift than the "gift of giving" and putting
smiles on the faces of kids. I want to especially thank the friends of TI and me who donated funds to my
foundation to make this a very merry LudaCrismas for Cobb County families" said Ludacris.
Contributions came from Ludacris, TI, Young Jeezy, Ne-Yo, Ciara, Jamal Crawford, Diddy, Chris Tucker,
Gabrielle Union, Edward Long Jr., Shawty Lo, Carmelo Anthony and his wife, La La Vazquez, Jini Thornton,
The Dream, Tricky Stewart and his management, David Banner, Russell Simmons, Anthony Dent, The Otis
Redding Foundation, Team 20 Foundation, and Manny (Keisha Cole's Manager).
The children were selected from the families impacted by the Atlanta Area flood. We worked with the Cobb
County Foundations and principals at Clarksdale and Austell schools. Children attending the party will be
treated to games, entertainment, and great food. They will also be able to “Build-A-LudaBear”, play WII
games and take pictures in Santa's workshop. The party will take place Saturday, December 19th from
12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Austell Intermediate School located at 5243 Meadows Rd, Powder Springs, GA.
30127.
"I love this time of year and can’t wait to see the smiles of joy on the faces and wonderment in the eyes of
the children as they make it thru “Santa's Workshop". We understand the importance of helping others and
giving back. We understand that the little things we do can sometimes have a huge effect on these children
for years to come. We understand! That’s why we do what we do at the Ludacris Foundation.” said Roberta
Shields, President of The Ludacris Foundation.
LudaCrismas is a part of the Foundation's LudaCares Initiative. The LudaCares Initiative is dedicated to
supporting kids and families in need during the holiday season. Providing food, toys and surprise visits.
