In anticipation of Earth Day, The Ludacris Foundation kicked off the celebration by partnering with Atlanta Harvest to host an interactive agricultural experience for students from the College Park Coalition. The event featured a hands-on farm tour, planting demonstrations, and an innovative Robotics showcase highlighting Nova, a versatile robot designed for farming and extinguishing fires. Students engaged directly with farmers while exploring key topics such as tree grafting, orchard maintenance, composting and seasonal planting. The experience came to life through hands-on activities, with participants planting collards and flowers and gaining a deeper understanding of sustainable agriculture. The day concluded with students receiving “Luda Bucks” to shop for fresh produce and other locally sourced items at the farm market, bringing their Earth Day experience full circle.

Atlanta recently hosted its inaugural Women in Technology Conference on April 2, welcoming approximately 300 women for a dynamic day centered on empowerment, innovation and connection. The energy was magnetic as attendees came together to share experiences and learn from industry leaders. The Ludacris Foundation hosted two impactful sessions during the conference. Gerald Keys, Chief of Production for Ludacris and Chief of Arts and Music for The Ludacris Foundation, led TechTunes, an engaging workshop designed to bridge the experience gap between AI and creativity. Participants were introduced to AI tools to enhance their music production skills while unlocking new opportunities for creative expression. For twenty-four years, the Ludacris Foundation has been a staunch pioneer in community, education, and expansion efforts for young people in Atlanta and worldwide. The launch of TechTunes serves as a trailblazing initiative that is the pinnacle of twenty-five years of music and constant technological changes. The purpose of TechTunes is to decrease the gap between experience and access for young creatives. Utopian Academy of the Arts High School in Morrow, Georgia, was chosen as the pilot for the program that partnered with Microsoft and music students at the school. The program utilizes Microsoft’s Copilot AI software and devices and was instructed by the Chief of Production for Ludacris and the Chief of Arts and Music for The Ludacris Foundation, Gerald Keys.
